More Pictures of Hazel

We Are Moving

While Hazel moves her arms and legs, sits, wiggles her toes, and rolls her hands, licks her brush and bats her eyes, Keefe and I have been busy packing. We are moving to Charlotte, North Carolina! Earlier this spring Johnson and Wales University contacted Keefe, informing him of a possible accelerated baking and pastry program. It goes from this June to next May, Monday - Friday 7-5. He had to take a test to get into the program, which he earned the best score of anyone who took the test, an then enough people had to also qualify for the program to take place. We were very excited when they called us and let us know that the program was a go. Keefe has been taking care of finding us a place to live, and moving arrangements. I try to keep the house somewhat decent looking amidst the craziness of packing. We have both been busy at work as well, training our replacements. We had an awesome garage sale last Saturday. It was also Hazel's 6 month birthday! Her two bottom teeth came in that evening! Here are some pictures.

Tommy and Chelsea just moved to Tempe AZ. They are missed already.

Grand Adventures with Hazel

Hazel is such a fun gal! We went on a grand adventure to Arizona a few weeks ago to visit all of my family down there. Keefe had to work, and while I was anxious about flying with Hazel, it went really well. Everyone was so nice to us at the airports! Hazel got to meet her Uncle Phil, Aunt Leila, cousins Raya, Landon, Kylie, Aubry, Nixon, Uncle Keith, Aunt Courtney, cousins Grant and Brett, Great Aunt Lana, Cousins Jenna Kristin, Sheldon, and Sigor, Cousins Michael, Ashley, and Loren, along with a lot of old family friends. She just loved everyone. She would smile and giggle and play. What a ham! She especially loves camping out at Grandma and Grandpa Hurst's house. Every morning she would wake up, eat and then G & G would wake up and come to see her. She was all smiles. She loves her family! I was lucky and Hazel kept her Wyoming time schedule. She took her two naps a day, ate well, and even had rice cereal for the first time! Brett was on the same schedule as Hazel, so that made it easy to get out and do stuff. We went swimming at the beach pool, we went to the zoo, we went to my old ward on Sunday, we walked around the beautiful Mesa Temple, and we visited family a lot! Here are some pictures of our time there. Thank you everyone for making this such a special time for us!
