 Hazel's smiles are the best! It is hard to get pictures of them because they do not last for long yet, but we cherish each one. Who knew there was so much joy to be had in a single smile!

Hazel Grace Fillerup

Annie has given birth in the wee hours of today to a wonderful baby girl.  Both Annie and the baby are doing well and are adjusting well to one another.  We have chosen to call her Hazel Grace Fillerup.  Hazel is 20.5 inches long and weighs 7 pounds 2 ounces and has been proclaimed to be a very beautiful baby by all of the great hospital staff, we of course agree.

Hazel has been great to mom and is very quite which allows Annie to sleep, and gives us a faint smile ever so often that assures us she is well. 

We feel very blessed to have had no complications, and thankful that we are blessed to have Hazel in our lives.  Let the adventures begin!

Ps. The Danishes in the hospital cafe are delicious!
